How to Help

Explore ways to support access to justice in Contra Costa County — whether through giving, a planned bequest, or volunteering your time and expertise — and see how that support fuels CCCJFA’s programs and initiatives.

The JFA Mission

Our mission is to provide access to high-quality legal services and programs that support underserved individuals and communities, ensuring that justice is a fundamental right, not a privilege.

Barbara Suskind Fund

Barbara Suskind, Esq., a 40-year CCCBA member and founding CCJFA board member, championed access to justice for decades. This fund carries on her legacy by supporting her favorite Legal Justice Partners.

Bequests

CCCJFA accepts legacy gifts—including bequests, charitable trusts, life insurance, and IRA designations. Planned giving donors are honored through membership in our Legacy Society.

The BAR Fund

The BAR Fund is a permanent, growing source of grants supporting pro bono legal services, equal access to justice, and a stronger, better-understood legal system in Contra Costa County.
