Barbara Suskind, Esq., Family Law Attorney, Mediator, Special Master, and Private Judge, was a CCCBA Member for over 40 years. In addition, she was a founding Board member of Contra Costa Justice for All. She was passionate about access to justice and gave regularly to many of our Legal Justice Partners such as Contra Costa Senior Legal Services, Congress of Neutrals, CASA and more. She helped start the legal program for STAND! (formerly Battered Women’s Alternative), and was the first attorney to file a DVRO in Contra Costa County. Barbara passed away after a battle with lung cancer on November 3, 2023…Those funds will support programs and projects related to collaborative programs between CCCJFA and her favorite Legal Justice Partners.
