The Bar Fund Benefit
Each year in the fall, CCCBA sponsors The Bar Fund Benefit to raise funds for a nonprofit that provides legal services for low-income members of our community. CCCBA works closely with the selected nonprofit to organize and plan the fundraiser.

Mission
The fund aims to maintain equal access to justice by supporting the organizations that protect the legal rights of those who cannot afford representation.
Supported Groups
It primarily funnels raised money into local legal aid groups, such as the Contra Costa Senior Legal Services (CCSLS) and Family Justice Centers, helping them keep doors open and expand capacity.
Funding Pool
Over its tenure, the Bar Fund has raised nearly $1 million for these legal non-profits.
Seek Assistance
If you are a resident in need of free or low-cost legal help, you can explore the LawHelpCA directory for local non-profit organizations that receive state-level legal trust fund grants.
